A selection of Jearelyn's paintings, exploring memory, nostalgia, identity, and the stories held within everyday moments.

The Broken Glass
2026 | Oil on Canvas | 30x48 inch

Inspired by a childhood photograph of the artist, this painting explores the contrast between the safety of one’s own reality and the fear, instability, and conflict experienced elsewhere. By merging these two realities, the artist reflects on gratitude, compassion, and the privilege of living in peace, while reminding us of the importance of approaching one another with love and understanding.

The Bond
2026 | Oil on Canvas | 9x12 inch

The Bond explores the closeness between a parent and child through one of life’s quietest milestones. It was inspired by the fleeting moment when a parent carries their child for the last time puts them down, unaware that they will never be carried in quite the same way again. By immortalizing this intimate ritual of passage, the artist invites viewers to return to that moment in their own lives and reconnect with the tenderness of childhood.

El Divino Salvador del Mundo
2026 | Oil on Canvas | 36x36 inch

El Divino Salvador del Mundo celebrates the artist’s Salvadoran heritage through a tribute to San Salvador and some of its most recognizable landmarks. The painting reflects on a city that has gone through difficult times over the past decades, while also capturing the changes and renewal that have shaped it. Through this work, the artist celebrates her roots and her connection to a city that continues to grow and reinvent itself.

El Sacrificio
2026 | Oil on Canvas | 9x12 inch

El Sacrificio pays homage to the street vendors who work every day to make a living. The man’s missing face represents the many people whose stories and struggles often go unnoticed or forgotten by society. The painting is also deeply personal to the artist, whose maternal grandmother, father, and mother were all street vendors in their youth. Through this work, the artist honours their hard work, sacrifice, and perseverance.
