Origin II

Origin II explores childhood through the artist’s lens, celebrating the “little” things that once made life feel simple and limitless. Through references to toys, cartoons, and media drawn from her own upbringing, the artist invites viewers to reconnect with memories of their own childhood and the innocence that came with it.

At the heart of the painting is a simple yet powerful message: remember the child you once were — bold, fearless, imaginative, and unstoppable. At the center of the piece stands Jearelyn herself at four years old, the age where her dream first began. Origin II becomes both a personal reflection and a universal reminder of the beginnings that shape who we become.
