"El Origen" Original Painting

“El Origen” is a piece that represents the indigenous peoples of Central America. 

The painting highlights the beauty of Mayan women (Lenca, Pipil, Maya-Chortí, etc.), all populations that lived freely. This piece honors the ancestors of Central American lands.

The earring made out of jade and the stones painted in the borders of the canvas represent the glyphs found in the Mayan calendar of Tzolk’in.
