“if God gives you lemons, make lemonade” is an artwork that stems from one's relationship with God. 

The lemons (more precisely, the seeds) represent the promises that God gives you,  the promises that God has already planned for your life. 

The lemonade, or making lemonade, represents the whole process that one has to go through in order to collect the fruits of those promises! However, one needs to cut the lemons in order to make lemonade & and enjoy said blessings.
